Ruaha National Park
The park is situaated in central Tanzania between latitude 7 and 8° S and longitude 34 and 35° E about 130 kilometres (81 mi) west of Iringa.
Ruaha was recently expanded by incorporating adjacent wildlife reserves to become the largest National Park in Tanzania. Ruaha lies in the convergence zone where northern and southern hemisphere birds and mammal species overlap. This results in an overwhelming number of birds (530 recorded) plants (1400) and a correspondingly large number of mammal species.
The park can be reached by car on a dirt road from Iringa and there are two airstrips - Msembe airstrip at Msembe (park headquarters, and Jongomeru airstrip near the Jongomeru ranger Post.

The Old Fort -Ngome Kongwe, is located in Stone Town- Zanzibar, Tanzania on the seafront next to the House of Wonders ot Beit al Jaib. It was built in 1698-1701 by the Busaidi Omani Arabs on the site of an earlier Portuguese church, remnants of which can be seen built into the walls in the main courtyard. The fort is a large building with high brown crenellated stone walls.
